Wilfred Lakara, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad appointed Advisors for Jharkhand

New Delhi, June 9 (ANI): Wilfred Lakara, a retired IAS officer of Chhattisgarh Cadre and Former Jharkhand Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Ranjan Prasad have been appointed as Advisors for the Government of Jharkhand.

Lakara, a retired IAS officer of 1973 batch has served at various levels in the State as well as in the Centre. During the year 2007 he was Managing Director (Equivalent to Secretary) in the (TRIFED) Tribal Co-op Mktg. Dev.Fedn. of India Ltd. and thereafter Secretary in Commission for Scheduled Tribes.

He also served as Advisor in the State of Jharkhand during the President’s Rule imposed on January 19, 2009.

Prasad, a retired IPS officer of 1970 batch served the State of Jharkhand at various levels.

He retired as Director General of Police in May 2007. He was on Central Deputation to the Intelligence Bureau, Government of India during 1988-1994. He is also a Member of the State Security Commission, Government of Jharkhand. (ANI)
