MELBOURNE - A cafe in Sydney has made the world’s biggest burger ever.

Ambrosia On The Spot, in Sydney’s Randwick, set a new record by preparing the 95.5kg beef burger.

The ingredients included 81kg of mince, 120 eggs, 16 tomatoes, 120 cheese slices, 2kg of lettuce, 21kg of bread and half a kilo of barbecue sauce.

Owner Joe El-Ajouz revealed that it took 24 hours to create and three months to plan the burger.

“I’ve always wanted to break a world record and this is a bit of fun and a marketing tool to get people in here and get them talking,” News.com.au quoted him, as saying.

El-Ajouz’s wife Iman said the most difficult thing in making the patty was to flip it.

The burger was put up for display, before being cut up for staff and supporters to taste. (ANI)
