Rain showers delight residents in Bikaner

BIKANER - Rain showers have brought much-needed relief for local residents in Bikaner region of Rajasthan on Monday.
These showers have ushered much awaited relief to the people from the excessive heat and dust that they endured for over a month.
The locals were overjoyed at the downpour and welcomed the pleasant weather.
Heavy downpour was also reported in Jodhpur region of the state.
The regional Meteorological observatory has issued a warning of heavy rains at isolated places in the State over the next two days.
These trends in climate have further brought down the temperature in the state.
Meanwhile, the authorities have warned people living in low-lying area to take all precautionary measures.
The cyclonic storm ‘Phet’ is expected to weaken gradually.
‘Phet’ initially had been forecast to become a Category 5 storm, the most powerful category with winds reaching the speed of over 156 mph. (ANI)
