PURI - With different parts of the country reeling under a heat wave, harried inhabitants are flocking to the beautiful beaches of Puri in Orissa to rejuvinate themselves.
Most parts of the country have already witnessed temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in April itself, making it cumbersome for people to carry on their daily life.
Puri beach is an ideal place to visit during the summer, as the weather remains cool and they can also chill out while having a bath in the sea.
“Actually, we are all in service. We don’t get time to go to places where we can enjoy and chill out. There is no place as such where we can enjoy and have a good time but over here we can have a good time and chill out too,” said Patil.
Fellow tourist Surinder Sharma echoed Patil’s thoughts, as he saidthat the beach is an ideal place for one to be in communion with nature.
“After the sunset, the weather over here becomes very enjoyable. We are here for the past one-hour but it still feels that we just came in. The climate over here is very nice and totally different from the hot cities,” said Sharma.
Usually, till the onset of the monsoon, the months of May-June are the hottest in the country with the temperatures often in the range of 40 to 45 degrees Celsius at many places. (ANI)
