NEW DELHI - The striking resident doctors of Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital called off their agitation on Wednesday evening.

Over 500 junior doctors, including postgraduate students, interns and junior residents had been on strike since Tuesday to protest against the lack of basic services.

Earlier today, the medicos blocked the Out Patients Department (OPD), stalling all services.

Upping their demands, the striking students wanted Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to listen to their demands. (ANI)
