Leader calls for scholarships for meritorious Malay-Indian students

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia’s Human Rights Party has urged the Higher Education Ministry to provide seats in higher education to academically exceptional Malay-Indian students by allocating scholarships and entrance into matriculation courses.

According to The Star, he said that seven students who scored straight As in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examinations last year had approached the party after they were denied the chance to pursue tertiary education. (ANI)
