Cross border firing from Pakistan in Jammu

JAMMU - A border Security Force (BSF) personnel was injured in a firing from across the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

The firing took place at around 5:45 a.m. near Bobiyan post in Kathua District of the State.

According to the BSF sources, Head Constable Anchal Singh was injured when a bullet hit him.

There was no immediate information that whether the firing was done by any intruder or Pakistani rangers from across the border.

The BSF troops at the post did not retaliate. (ANI)
