MELBOURNE - Fire-fighter Tash Bennett has gone topless again again, but this time it’s for a men’s magazine, not to fight a fire.

The 27-year-old was praised earlier this month, when she dashed off to put out a fire at an apartment block while topless.

The Darwin-based personal trainer was sunbathing outside her apartment when she noticed a palm tree fire was about to set a building afire. Without a second thought, she dashed off - topless - to extinguish the flames.

“I had to use my hand to cover myself while running through the hotel,” News.com.au quoted Tash as telling ZOO magazine.

“Then I spent 10 minutes trying to put out the fire.

“There were loads of people standing around just looking at me amazed.”

ZOO editor Paul Merrill says, “Kevin Rudd says that Jessica Watson is our newest young Australian hero, but Tash was far braver”.

“I’ve had heaps of response from fire brigades in America,” says Tash.

“I think they’re proud that a normal citizen can do something like that without any panic.

The Chicago force want me to go over there to talk to them about what happened.”

Talking about whether naked fire fighting could catch on as a trend, she said, “I wouldn’t mind seeing a few of the guys coming down the pole without tops on! If we got a naked fire troop, we could put out some massive fires.” (ANI)
