BSEB Rectifies Transmission Units

PATNA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- BSEB (Bihar State Electricity Board) has been the subject of discussion all across the country owing to the severe power crunch in Bihar. Reportedly BSEB is trying their best to restore normalcy in the state as they have already allotted people to carry out rectification works in the main transmission towers.
Owing to the severe power cuts, Patna and other major areas of the state had witnessed protests against the Bihar State Electricity Board. Inspite of that there has been no improvement in the condition of the state and BSEB has failed to drawn in the reasons for the massive power cut which has engulfed the state at large. Transmission lines witnessed heavy snag which resulted in frequent power cuts in the city that dropped in late evening and continued up till late nights. As a matter of fact BSEB calculated that the total power which is now available for the whole state is somewhat near 1,080 MW. Out of this the BSEB has transmitted a total of 340 MW of power to the capital city. What’s more upsetting is that, BSEB is dragging with 500 MW power shortage which is the chief cause for the city falling a prey to darkness.
H R Pandey who happens to be the chief spokesperson for BSEB told the media that the electricity board shall review all major transmission units which is said to be the source of the power cuts in the city. Besides Patna, the other places which has been experiencing heavy darkness are Jehanabad, Gaya and Masaurih. BSEB is also facing severe challenges from the thunderstorms which kept interrupting in between the rectification works on the transmission towers.
