Hong Kong airport wins ‘best airport’ laurel for fourth consecutive year

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has one again bagged the title of the ‘World’s best airport’. This is the fourth year running that the airport which caters to over 40 million flyers, has bagged the honour.

HKIA has garnered a record high of 4.76 points out of 5 in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey, this means that over 98 percent of the respondents rated the airport “excellent” or “very good”.

Terminal cleanliness, airport ambience, free Internet connection, availability and cleanliness of washrooms, and comfort of gates and waiting areas were the facilities that the flyers appreciated highly.

HKIA also took the third place in both regional and overall categories in the ASQ survey conducted by the Airports Council International, Xinhua news agency reports. (ANI)
