DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)-In all probability the domain of cell phone in the current market in speculated to witness some major changes. The government has come up with a proposal so as to offer a hike for the fees of mobile spectrum. As a matter of fact, this decision shall largely affect the biggies in the game like Bharti Airtel which have witnessed a pinch by a rate margin of 8.3 percent for all Airtel stocks in the market.
Market Analysts are of the opinion that the government’s proposal shall be a huge cost rise for all leading telecom service providers in the country. These includes Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone. These three big telecom service providers shall incur billion dollar investment if the government proposal is accepted. As a reaction to the proposal, Bharti Airtel told the media that considering all grounds they think the proposal to be “shocking, arbitrary and retrograde.” Bharti Airtel also underlined the fact that the proposal itself is a severe mismatch to the overturn policy of the country over a span of 15 long years. Bharti Airtel spokesperson also added that the proposal seems to favor a handful of service providers who are pretty new to the market compared to the existence of Bharti Airtel who are regarded to be one of the biggest in the telecom sector.
As per the market shares in the country Bharti Airtel has a rate margin of 21.8 percent which is inspiring amidst such cut throat competition. Bharti Airtel has witnessed financial demands on a high note which applies to the allocation of 3g spectrum. Reportedly, the regulators of the government proposal are of the opinion that no matter what Bharti Airtel says, the concept is a boon to one and all in the business.
