NAIROBI, KENYA (GaeaTimes.com)- The United Nations has urged all its member nations to ensure that the bio diversity of the planet and its loss in recent time can be brought under control. Reportedly, the United Nations have come up with the proposal that Biodiversity loss has to brought under control by any cost which gains ground with the effective framework of United Nations Environment Programme. As a matter of fact, the United Nations Environment Programme is hoping to bring about a massive change in their system and activities to level all dreams for loss of Biodiversity.

The United Nations Environment Programme witnessed GGO -3 which happens to be the third edition of Global Biodiversity Outlook that is said to be produced by CBD (Convention on Biological Diversity). Theofficialsmonitoring the United Nations Environment Programme declared that its upsetting that the world has not been able to meet the targets and the directive principles which were set to reduce the loss of Biodiversity.

Speaking on the same line Achim Steiner who happens to be the Executive director for UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) said that the tumultuous conditions of the economy has to be blamed for the loss of bio diversity. The director told the media that it is disappointing to witness that many a major economies of the world are ignorant of the importance of a healthy ecosystem which contributes to the planet and its healthy structure. In accordance to the United Nations Environment Programme the urge to conserve biodiversity not only lifts the status of the ecosystem but also helps to generate more amount of green house gases and plenty of carbon storage. The United Nations Environment Programme officials also sated that all efforts to stem the loss of biodiversity shall help people adapt themselves in a much better way to any climatic changes.
