Scribe’s murder: Jharkhand Police issues notice to doctors

NEW DELHI - Police in Jharkhand’s Koderma District have issued a notice to three doctors who conducted the post mortem on dead Delhi journalist Nirupama Pathak. Pathak who was found dead at her home in Jharkhand last month.
The doctors are expected to be questioned today for not preserving her viscera and foetus.
Jharkhand Police have already questioned Nirupama’s boyfriend Priyabhanshu Ranjan.eanwhile, Nirupama’s friends have demanded that the case be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
On Saturday, about 300 people under the banner of the group ‘Justice for Nirupama’ gathered at Jantar Mantar and held a candle light march there, demanding that the authorities strict action against those responsible for her murder.
Nirupama passed out of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) last year, and was in relationship with former batch mate Ranjan, which her parents did not approve of because of caste considerations.
She was found dead on April 29. (ANI)
