“Many competitions are organized for the younger girls like Miss India and Miss World. But there was no such programme for the teenager girls at the school level, for grooming up their talents and exposing talents. So, we thought of a programme in which the teenager girls will get a platform to groom their talents and expose their talents and that is why this Nanhi Pari competition was started,” said Malay Mohapatra, General Secretary, Nanhi Pari.
Girls as young as 10 and 12 years sashayed down the ramp with both poise and confidence.
