MELBOURNE - Two women and a man attacked a man and sucked his blood in a vampire type attack in Wellington’s Mount Victoria.

The accused have been charged with wounding with intent to render a man unconscious in relation to the bizarre attack.

The two held, James Phillip Brooks, 22, and Xenia Gregoriana Borichevsky, 19, were produced at the Wellington District, reports The Daily Telegraph.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of James Eric Orr, 19, who fled after the incident.

According to The Dominion Post, Brooks said that they bit the victim but did not draw blood. The victim passed out after being bitten.

Their charge carries a maximum penalty of 14 years imprisonment.

Brooks said that he along with his girlfriend, a friend and the victim were walking over Mt Victoria at the time of the attack.

“That wasn’t me. Do I look like a vampire? I’m out during the daytime. I may look like a punk but I’m not a punk. I’m just different,” Brooks told The Dominion Post when asked about the blood-sucking incident.

Brooks accepted biting the man but he said he didn’t puncture the flesh.

“Yeah, I bit a guy he hit on my missus. My girlfriend and my mate were biting him. I was angry with him, so I used it as an excuse,” Brooks said.

“I didn’t bite him to hurt him. I bit him because I was pissed off with him and he was my mate and I didn’t want to hurt him. If I’d hit him, I’d have really hurt him, so I thought I’ll bite him seeing as they’re already biting him,” he added.

“Drinking blood wasn’t my agenda, I was just angry,” he further said. (ANI)
