ONGC Careers Announced For The Year 2010

NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) The recruitment process of ONGC for the year 2010 has started from April 30 onwards with over 450 posts available to graduate trainees from all over India. Considering it is one of the most well known companies not only in India but also in Asia, ONGC careers attract engineering students across the continent of Asia. For the year 2010, ONGC has assigned a maximum of 459 posts, out of which 419 are the posts available for general recruitment and the remaining 40 vacancies will be available to only people belonging to the schedule caste and schedule tribes.

The ONGC careers 2010 is in search of young and talented engineers, geo-scientists, MBA graduates and also chartered accountants who are bright and energetic for its vacancies in the drilling, mechanical, instrumentation, production, E&T, civil, cementing and chemistry departments. The aspirants should have a minimum of 65% throughout their academic records if they belong to the general category and a minimum of 60% if they belong to the SC or ST category. With the age limits varying for the different posts that are available, the ONGC careers are to offer a total remuneration of Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50,500 with an increment by at least 3 percent each year.

The official website of the company has already notified that the last date for the registration process will be the 21st of May, 2010. Every candidate who is interested to be a part of the ONGC careers will also have to sit for a written test to be held on the 20th of June across eight cities throughout India. ONGC is the most important oil exploration and production companies in Asia. It produces 30% of India’s crude oil. Therefore like most other years this year too many students will apply for the jobs under ONGC.
