CALTON HILL, EDINBURGH (GaeaTimes.com)- The atmosphere at the Calton Hill in Edinburgh is expected to be fiery in the real sense of the term as it gears up to celebrate the annual Beltane Festival this evening. As many as 12,000 people are expected to grace the event to participate in the pagan inspired spring festivities. The attendance in this year’s Beltane festival is expected to be really strong given the fact that this time the event would be observed on a Friday night.
Anticipation regarding this year’s Beltane Festival is all the more as it has come to light that this time Japanese Taiko drummers would also be joining the festivities which is likely to play a significant role in accentuating the high spirits of the colorful event.
