Gilani invites Manmohan to visit Pakistan

THIMPHU - Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Thursday invited his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh to visit Pakistan.

“Prime Minister Gilani invited him (Singh) to visit Pakistan. He said he would love to visit Pakistan,” Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told reporters here, after a meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit here.

Praising Manmohan Singh, Qureshi said: “He has his heart in the right place. He is a well-meaning man. He is an academic. He is a visionary. He wants to move on.”
