Deutsch: No hard feelings about losing MSNBC hour

NEW YORK — Donny Deutsch (doych) is back at NBC. Just not on television.

The advertising executive angered people at MSNBC last week with a story about anger when he filled in for an hour in the afternoon. His April 20 story about how tough political talk riles viewers mentioned MSNBC personalities Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz.

Management took offense, and Deutsch was told not to come in for the rest of the week.

He returned to NBC headquarters Tuesday, moderating a panel for a presentation to advertisers and eating lunch next to NBC Universal chief executive Jeff Zucker. Deutsch waved off questions about the incident by saying, “it’s just TV.”
