How a kind-hearted porn star saved man from 20-year-prison term

NEW YORK - An American pizza delivery guy evaded a 20-year-prison sentence for carrying X rated child videos, thanks to the kind-heartedness of a porn star.
Carlos Simon-Timmerman, from Brooklyn, New York, was put on trial in Puerto Rico for allegedly transporting child porn after US Customs agents discovered an X rated DVD titled “Little Lupe the Innocent” in his bags when he passed through San Juan Airport security on his way back to the city, reports the New York Post.
The agents arrested Simon-Timmerman, as they believed the actress in the video, porn star Lupe Fuentes, was underage.
But Simon-Timmerman dodged the threat of a prison term after Fuentes flew to Puerto Rico and proved before the court that she was 19 when the film was shot.
His lawyer Hector Ramos-Vega said he tracked down Fuentes through her website and requested her to appear in court.
Saying that the porn star did not ask for any money and was enthusiastic about helping, Ramos Vega added: “She didn’t have to do that, but it was crucial for our case.
“I know Carlos was very grateful-it was like he was born again.” (ANI)
