Rassoul has undertaken his visit to India on his way to Bhutan on Monday (April 25).

Meanwhile, Krishna would be hosting a dinner for Rassoul in the capital.

Rassoul’s visit paves the way for the visit of Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai to New Delhi.

Karzai, while being on his way to Bhutan to attend the SAARC Summit, will arrive in New Delhi for two-day State visit. He is expected to arrive in New Delhi on Monday (April 26).

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Afghanistan President’s visit would strengthen the “strategic partnership” between the two nations.
