Biography silent on Spitzer seeing hookers’ years before becoming NY Governor

NEW YORK - A biography on former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer has chosen to remain silent or neutral on whether he was seeing hookers’ years before occupying the coveted post.
Written by Peter Elkind, the book, according to the New York Post, leaves the reader asking several questions about the when and why with hookers.
The book has also been converted into a documentary film and will be screened at the Tribeca Film today.
Alex Gibney’s documentary chronicling Spitzer’s fall or the biography, however, won’t be the last word if he ever tries to make a political comeback.
Gibney and author Peter Elkind spent months researching their joint projects.
Elkind’s book “Rough Justice” offers only thin, men-of-power speculation for what led Spitzer to start seeing prostitutes at the Emperors Club VIP while he was attorney general in 2006, but he never probes the ex-governor on the record at length, at least in the book, about what happened.
Elkind also doesn’t answer the question of whether the Emperors Club was the first “club” Spitzer frequented. He just takes up the thread of his initial visits to it, without any explanation.
He doesn’t touch at all on whether 2006 was when hiring escorts began for Spitzer.
The Post has reported before, based on sources, that Spitzer was seeing hookers for years prior to becoming governor.
Without answers to any of these questions, it’s hard to see him having a smooth political comeback should he attempt it. (ANI)
