WELLINGTON - A man who left his 18-month-old boy locked up in a car to visit a strip club has been slapped with a fine.
Wayne Ricardo Schwamm has been fined 200 dollars for leaving a child under 14 without reasonable supervision in Wellington District Court, reports The New Zealand Herald.
The 42-year-old left his son unattended in a car while he went to a strip club, parking his vehicle on Wellington’s Courtenay Place.
A passer-by told that the child was locked in a car with the windows rolled up for about 40 minutes and called up the police.
He was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant and later charged over leaving the child without supervision. (ANI)
