NEW YORK - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has earned roughly 12 million dollars since stepping down from her job at the end of July.
Palin had been making 125,000 dollars per year as governor, but soon after stepping down, the former 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee was reportedly paid seven million dollars for her book “Going Rogue.”
According to CBS News, Palin is said to be getting 250,000 dollars per episode for her television series on the Learning Channel and up to 100,000 dollars to deliver a speech.
According to ABC News, Palin’s earnings are “probably much higher” than the conservative 12 million dollar estimate because Palin does not publicize her earnings.
She has not disclosed what she is being paid by Fox News to serve as a contributor or her earnings from her planned second book.
Asked about Palin’s earnings, an aide told ABC News that she “is now a private citizen. As a result, her fees and earnings are private.” (ANI)
