Saudi Arabian Prince meets Hamid Ansari

NEW DELHI - Prince of Saudi Arabia and Emir of Riyadh region Salman bin Abdul Aziz met vice President Hamid Ansari and discussed international developments and bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Prince had arrived here on Sunday on a four-day State visit, on invitation by President Pratibha Patil.

He is scheduled to meet Indian business community.

The relationship between two countries got a boost after recent visit of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to the kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has emerged as the largest crude oil supplier to India and their trade crossed 25 billion dollars during 2008-2009. (ANI)
