NEW DELHI - Maoists have killed a farmer and his son in Konarkhurd village in Bihar’s Rohtas District.
According to police, rebels also blasted the victim’s house before fleeing from the area on Friday.
Rohtas Deputy Superintendent of Police R K Mal said over 100 Maoists were in the team.
“More than a hundred armed Maoists raided the house of Dadan Singh, pulled the family members out and triggered dynamite blasts to blow up the house at Konarkhurd in Chenari police station late last night,” Mal said.
They gunned down Singh and his son Bishambhar Singh, he added.
Personal enmity between Dadan Singh and some Maoist cadres was stated to be reason behind the incident. (ANI)
