17 killed in road mishap in Andhra Pradesh

GUNTUR - At least seventeen people were killed and 13 others injured when a truck carrying them overturned at Uppalapadu village in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur District today.

According to sources, the accident took place when the victims were on their way to Buttavaripelam from Macherla.

The driver, cleaner and those seated in the cabin escaped unhurt.

The injured have been admitted to the government hospital at Macherla. (ANI)
