New DVD filters that block all naughty bits

MELBOURNE - Worried parents have good news at hand, courtesy new DVD players that can filter any nasty or naughty bits when watching movies with the kids.

New ClearPlay DVD players enables users to block sex, violence and swearing from films played in their own homes.

Subscribers to US website ClearPlay can pay the technology that will skip or mute content based on seven categories, including nudity and blasphemy, The Couriermail reported.

Subscribers can download filters for specific films that are expected to cost nearly 1.60 dollars per week.

Spokesman Andrew Duncan said the filters would appear within 48 hours of a film’s DVD release. (ANI)
