LAHORE - Pakistani security agencies have nabbed two suspects over their alleged links in the kidnapping of the five-year-old British child Sahil Saeed.
According to reports, the arrests were made from Bilal town in Pakistan Punjab province’s Jhelum region following an input from a vehicle tracking company, which had installed a tracking system in the car used by Sahil’s abductors.
The kidnappers had abandoned the car near the Jhelum bus stand after stopping over at a house in Bilal town, few kilometres away from Sahil’s grandmother’s house, The Dawn reports.
Sahil was kidnapped at gunpoint from her grandmother’s earlier this month just hours before he was to board a flight back to London.
He was released earlier this week after his family reportedly paid a hefty ransom of about 110,000 pounds. (ANI)
