Party workers snatch currency notes from MP Ejaj Ali’s garland

PATNA - Party workers snatched currency notes from the garland presented to an Indian lawmaker in Patna on.
Ejaj Ali, who was one of the seven MPs suspended from the Rajya Sabha for their unruly behavior on the Women’s Reservation Bill, was welcomed at the Patna Airport with a garland estimated to be having one lakh rupees.
The party workers snatched most of the currency notes from the garland at the airport.
Ejaj Ali said that this was not the first time that the people were weighed in money.
“Look before this also it has happened its not the first time it has happened. Before this also many people have been weighed with the coins. But I feel that if any body talks of the low caste why the people start talking about it,” said Ali.
Ali had been expelled from the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and is now an unattached member of the Rajya Sabha,
His term as a Rajya Sabha (Upper House of Indian Parliament) member ends in April this year. (ANI)
