ITBP launches website, SMS, helpline services dedicated to recruitment

NEW DELHI - The Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) on Wednesday become the first Central Police Force to launch professional SMS, help line service and website to assist lakhs of youths applying for various position in the force.

The youths who have applied for the Constable (General Duty) 2010 recruitment would be the first one to benefit from the new system.

Launching the new facilities, the ITBP Director General Ranjit Kumar Bhatia said keeping in view the new recruitment policy announced by the Home Ministry the ITBP is taking all steps to reduce human interference and maintain highest level of transparency.

The new recruitment website www. itbprecruitment.in would contain information related to certificates required for the recruitment and detailed guidelines of the process.

The helpline would answer the queries in both English and Hindi languages.

The SMS based service would provide information about flow of information related to medical examination, written examination centers.

The ITBP has decided to video graphed physical examination in a way to reduce malpractice during test. (ANI)
