NEW YORK - Malaysian Indian Congress Deputy President G. Palanivel has expressed concern over the rising number of divorce cases in the Indian community.
Palanivel advised MIC branch leaders and Indian social organisations to organise marriage courses for those planning to tie the knot.
The Star Online quoted Palanivel as saying that the number of teenage runaway brides, premarital pregnancies and young single mothers was also on the rise. (ANI)
