ON BOARD AIR INDIA ONE - The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, and his official entourage on Monday took some time off from their official duties to celebrate the festival of colours- Holi.

The venue of the celebration was unique by any stretch of imagination- it was on board Air India One, the Prime Minister’s special aircraft, which was bringing him back home from three day official visit to Saudi Arabia.

After his interaction with the media on various issues on board the special aircraft, the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation spent some time sneering each other with coloured powder (gulal), normally associated with the festival.

Minister of Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was the cabinet colleague accompanying the Prime Minister, placed some saffron colour on the Prime Minister’s visage.

Thereafter, others also joined in the revelry. By Naveen Kapoor (ANI)
