Art model spends cold afternoon naked in front of window!

NEW YORK - Snowfall failed to tone down the enthusiasm of art model Megan Hanford who posed nude in a window of a West Village art throughout the afternoon.
“I’m art,” the New York Post quoted the 25-year-old Hanford, as saying.
She went on: “This is freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
“I’m not gyrating up there or beckoning to the crowd.
“I don’t think there is anything about my body that is going to scar the minds of young children.”
Manhattan artist Brian Reed, 25, the creator of the shark egg and wire sculpture that is suspended over the model in the window, believes Hanford’s nudity is essential to displaying his art. Cops disagreed and Hanford was asked to get out of the window.
However, she was back soon, presenting herself to Christopher Street. And police may not stop her again.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said police will not interfere, “Unless it involves lewd conduct, it’s not illegal to be naked as part of a performance or exhibit.”
Chair and Maiden gallery owner John Dabu said Hanford will stand in the window, from 3 to 7 p.m., through the coming weeks. (ANI)
