‘Sanskriti’ Express to mark 150th birth Anniversary of Tagore

NEW DELHI - Minister for Railways Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said the Indian Railways will run special train Sanskriti Express across the country to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Nobel Laureate Guru Rabindranath Tagore.

“The Indian Railways will run special train Sanskriti Express across the country to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore and to disseminate his legacy to the young generation,” said Ms. Mamata Banerjee.

“Tagore is the only poet in the work whose poems have been adopted as National Anthems by two countries - Amar Sonar Bangla for Bangladesh and Jan Gana Mana for India,” she added. (ANI)
