Sukhna Police outpost on fire

SUKHNA - The Sukhna Police outpost, on the foothills of Darjeeling hills was set on fire after a man named Amit Lama, was arrested for the allged murder of a girl from Sikkim.
By the time the fire brigade arrived, the outpost was completely gutted.
No casualties were reported but vehicles at the police outpost were gutted in the fire.
“We got an information from Siliguri control room that Sukna police outpost was set on fire. We along with Siliguri officials reached the spot and saw that the police outpost was burning, said Subhrangsho Majumder, fire officer of Matigara fire station in Darjeeling.
Kin of the girl were protesting outside the police station to demand arrest of the person who committed the murder. (ANI)
