MELBOURNE - A mother of a 12 year old girl in Australia has been charged for forcing her daughter to allegedly have sex with more than 120 men, including a Tasmanian state MP.
The 12-year-old Hobart girl’s mother was charged yesterday with a offences relating to supplying her daughter at 100 dollars per half-hour and 50 dollars extra for “no condom”, the Hobart Magistrates Court heard.
The girl contracted sexually transmitted diseases, The Age reports.
Prosecutor Sally Craig said the 41-year-old mother of three sold her daughter for sex on weekends between August 1 and September 30 last year, after meeting Hobart man Gary Devine, 50.
They placed classified advertisements in The Mercury newspaper advertising “Angela, 18″, Constable Craig told magistrate Chris Webster.
A room was rented for the sexual services at Hobart’s MidCity Hotel, the court was told. “It’s estimated the girl may have had sex with as many as 120 men during the period … as well as a large number of males in a Glenorchy unit,” Constable Craig said.
The girl was paid about 400 dollars a day and her mother took 6400 dollars. Most of the money was spent on drugs, the court heard. (ANI)
