Shiv Sena boycotts all-party meet on Pune blast

MUMBAI - The Shiv Sena on Monday walked out of an all-party meeting called by Chief Minister Ashok Chavan to review the security situation after Pune blast.ustifying his party’s decision, Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi accused Chavan of not giving any satisfactory reply on the blast case.
“It’s the responsibility of the government to save the lives of the people. We have the right to live as per the Indian Constitution. We raised the issue of Pune incident; no satisfactory reply was given by the Chief Minister and we have no alternative than to stage a walkout,” said Joshi.
“The Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra should resign,” Joshi addedhe bomb, which killed nine people and wounded at least 57, is seen as the first major attack on India since the 2008 Mumbai terrors attack. (ANI)
