VAPI - A day after a bomb explosion in Pune claimed the lives of nine people and injured 50 others, police in Gujarat’s Valsad District have arrested three persons for possessing a huge cache of explosives-related material.

Special Operations Group (SOG) officials said the three persons, including a car mechanic, are being interrogated in Valsad District’s Vapi area after they were found to be in possession of 200 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, 600 detonators and 200 gelatin sticks.

Valsad District officials and police officers said details of the arms acquisition were still very scanty, and all efforts are being made to get them. Further information is awaited. (ANI)
