Chennai kid pulls 1,500 kilogram car for a record attempt

CHENNAI - In a bid to enter record books, a six-year-old Malaysian-Indian boy wowed crowds at a Chennai beach on Friday by pulling a 1,500 kilogram car with eight passengers in it.
The boy named “Santhos 10″, as he prefers being called for resembling with his favourite cartoon character Ben 10, fascinated much public attention after successfully pulling the Travara car up to 80 metres at Marina beach of Chennai.
He did it with the help of a simple harness put around his waist.
is father N. Thiagu says his son, dubbed as ‘Little Boss’ by the Malaysian media, has now set his sights on towing a plane.
“His next plan is to pull a plane. I knew he would definitely pull the car here and achieve his record in India,” said Thiagu.
Last year, in Malaysia, T. Santhosperumal entered record books as the youngest person to pull a car.
“He made a record by pulling a car about 2,000 kilograms and his name has been registered in the Malaysian Book of Achievements for the achievement. He is supposed to be the youngest car puller in Malaysia,” said Sathis, the organiser of the event.
Last December, in Malaysia, Santhos, 35 kilograms, pulled a Mercedes Benz E-Class with four passengers up to 120 metres.
Santhos hopes that AirAsia, Malaysian budget airline, will help him achieve this dare-devil feat soon. By Jaikumar (ANI)
