German President visits Volkswagen plant at Pune

PUNE - German President, Horst Koehler, who is on a seven-day visit to India, visited the plant of German auto major Volkswagen at Pune on Thursday.
During his visit, Koehler and Jochem Heizmann, member of the board of directors of Volkswagen AG, rolled out the 11,111,111th Polo produced globally.
His entourage also interacted with leading industrialists of the region.
President Koehler undertook a conducted tour of the factory and he showed keen interest in the strides made by the company.
Volkswagen, had unveiled its much awaited premium hatchback, Polo at the Auto Expo in New Delhi last month.
The parent company became number one in the European car market decades ago and continues to do so through exceptional value for money and premium products, which are reliable and of high quality.
VW is also known in Europe for its extraordinary services and high level of customer satisfaction. (ANI)
