MELBOURNE - An Australian bank adviser has landed in hot water after he was busted staring at a series of near-naked photographs of supermodel Miranda Kerr.
The adviser, believed to be David Kiely, a stockbroker with Macquarie Private Wealth, was caught live on television and the footage was said to have been soaring in popularity after being shot by Seven News.
According to The Australian, the stockbroker was busted when he opened a series of emails containing the photographs while his colleague Martin Lakos was discussing a Reserve Bank’s decision live on air, reports News.com.au.
Macquarie’s human resources unit were said to have informed the bank’s 11,500 staff worldwide with a copy of its internet policy following the incident.
A spokeswoman said: “Macquarie has strict policies in place surrounding the use of technology and the issue arising from today’s live cross on 7 News is being dealt with internally.” (ANI)
