Prince William ‘won’t pick up Aussie lass’

MELBOURNE - Prince William would not be doing a Prince Charming and chat up ladies during his stay in Australia, a famed royal watcher has predicted.
Hello! reporter Judy Wade, who has been following the British Royal Family for three decades, claimed the 27-year-old might be “as lovely as can be” but he no longer possesses the charm he once had.
“At 18 he was divine, at 22 he wasn’t bad, but now, standing here next to all these sun-tanned Kiwis he looks like a pale Pommie prince with a thatch in his patch,” the Australian quoted her as saying.
“He comes off looking second-best. Harry’s the heart throb now and he’s far more fun,” she added.
Wade further said that the prince’s relationship with long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton besides his packed schedule may leave him with little time to socialise.
The second in line to the British throne was famously mobbed by young women during his New Zealand visit as a 22-year-old in 2005.
He is presently on his first official overseas trip, representing grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in Wellington. (ANI)
