MUMBAI - Almost 14 months after witnessing the worst ever terror attack in the Indian history the Mumbai police are not leaving a stone unturned to ensure safety and security of the city.

On Thursday, the City Police conducted a mock drill to check the preparedness and response time of the officials to such terror attack like situations in future.

The drill was conducted at the Dadar Railway Station and the Swami Narayan Temple, which are considered as sensitive places.

According to Mimbai Police the mock drill aimed at facilitating the personnel to acquaint with the high-end weapons and the methodology of handling it.

Speaking to ANI, Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Sanjay Baviskar said: “The mock drill is aimed to check the response time and reaction of the police officials after the terror attacks.”

“We chose Dadar railway station as it is very crowded during the morning hours and such places are often chosen for such terror attacks,” he added. (ANI)
