MUMBAI - Kenyan paralympics gold medallist and world track champion Henry Wanyoike will run marathon in Mumbai on January 17.

Henry, who is the brand ambassador of a charitable organisation called ‘Seeing is Believing’, is participating to encourage underprivileged girls.

“We are very privileged to run with them because these are the girls, we believe, are going through the same challenges as I was going through when I was young like these girls. I was born in slums. I was going through so many challenges like these girls. So I am happy to run with them,” said Wanyoike.

Henry, who is partially blind, shared tips with the underprivileged girls during their pre-marathon session.

“Seeing is Believing’ is a global initiative to help tackle avoidable blindness. (ANI)
