MUMBAI - Child actors of Oscar-winner “Slumdog Millionaire” interacted with other children here on Sunday.

The two child actors Azharuddin Ismail and Rubina were chief guests at an award ceremony, organised on the occasion of ‘National Road Safety Week’.

Interacting with the media Ismail said that the children would have to put in hard work to achieve stardom.

“If you all (the children) want to become like me then you will have to study hard and after that you will have to put in the hard work,” said Ismail.

Rubina said: “I really felt very good when these children some of whom were of my age, some younger and some older shook hands with me and took pictures with me.”

“Slumdog Millionaire”, a rags-to-riches story of a Mumbai slum dweller that goes on to win 20 million dollars in a quiz show, was adjudged the best film at the last Oscars. (ANI)
