Earlier in the day addressing a joint press conference with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari in Mumbai, Soren expressed confidence that the new alliance comprising Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), the BJP and the All Jharkhand Student’s Union (AJSU) would provide a stable government in the state.
“Jharkhand needs a stable government at this crucial juncture,” e said,
Soren also added that he is aware of the functioning of Gadkari and is confident that the alliance will work well.
“Though the Jharkhand is a mineral-rich state, the people there are poor and only a stable government can help improve the situation,” Soren said.
Gadkari said all the alliance partners will evolve a common programme for governance in Jharkhand. (ANI)
