Audie Murphy’s Club Honors Sergeant

COLUMBUS (GaeaTimes.com)- Sergeant Holly Burke of Columbus has become an official member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club. The non commissioned officer who joined the United States Army in 2000 and has also served in Iraq has another feather to add to her cap. After serving in Tikrit, Baghdad and other places in Iraq, the sergeant returned to her home country on the 22nd of this month and it was then that she was felicitated by the SAMC.

The SAMC has been named after Sergeant Audie Murphy, probably the most highly celebrated and talked about soldier in the history of the United States Army. To be considered a part of the Club is a great honor for the soldiers of America. However only non commissioned officers can be a part of the Sergeant Audy Murphy Club. The officers who excel as a leader and perform very well under the folds of the US Army can boast of a place in the prestigious Club. Sergeant Holly Burke has contributed in a big way towards the progress of the United States Army and is thus the fitting holder of the place that she has secured in the SAMC.

Holly Burke says in a statement that she is overjoyed that the Sergeant Audy Murphy Club has chosen to honor her. It is one of the highest honors that she could hope for. The Sergeant says that it is a dream come true for her because she had never expected that the big honor would come so soon in her career. However her seniors said that Holly Burke fully deserves what she has achieved.
