CARLISLE, ENGLAND (GaeaTimes.com)- A group of investigators went ahead to run a check upon the status of federal farm aid and its recipients. Reportedly, they were helped by EWG (Environmental Working Group) in their task. The social security administration officials have also evaluated the death index file and calculated the total amount that was passed on to the farmer’s family following their death. EWG was the very first to have come up with idea of organizing an investigation team to run a check on the status of USDA (United States Department Of Agriculture) financial aid.

The official records indicates that there has a been a total payment of $15,000 which has been sent over to a Wareham farmer. EWG officials also told the media that the records indicated that several cheques has been mailed over to the dead farmers at Belmont and other cities. Richard Wiles who happens to be an influential member of EWG told the media that the official records are the proof that the farm subsidy system is all the way disorganized and the federal aid is being squandered with no signs of regret. In a particular case, there has been multiple payments for one single farmer over a period of seven years.

EWG officials said that the recent audits are an instance to the improper payments which are being sent over to the farmer families where it is being encashed by a different person and used for his own personal needs. James McGovern who happens to be a Congressman, supports EWG and told the media that there had been several instances where cheques never returned but were used by other people. He says that it’s not only illegal but harmful for the state at large.
