Abu Dhabi, May 20 (IANS/WAM) The Arabic version of “The Next Fifty Years: Science in the First Half of the Twenty-first Century” has been published by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) here.
Predictions about human presence on Mars by 2050 by physicist Paul Davies, psychiatrist Nancy Etcoff’s research on creation of emotion-sensing jewellery and biologist Richard Dawkins’ vision to obtain a genome printout at the cost of x-ray are some of the rare essays included in the book.
The original book edited by John Brockman, which contains 25 unpublished works of world’s leading scientists, has been translated into Arabic by Fatima Ghaneem.
